Chapter Nine
Drew
Aamil stumbled into the house at 4 in the morning. He was high as fuck and mumbling to himself. I watched him walk into the family room and I rolled my eyes. I hated how this nigga was forcing me to go to school and shit. Giving me all of these damn rules like he was my fucking daddy. I really just wanted to sit his ass down and tell him that he couldn’t judge me when he was filling the streets of the D with all types of fucking drugs. Yes, he owned a chain of barbershops, but I knew what his real profession was. He was a dope dealer and belonged to Detroit’s most infamous drug family next to the Yaasmin brothers.
Aamil knocked over two of his bar stools and he started laughing. I groaned and got up. I fixed the bar stools and helped Aamil stand up straight. He looked down at me and he smiled. I would be lying if I said it didn’t make me feel some kind of way. Aamil was a fine chocolate ass nigga with these damn waves that would make anybody sea sick. I mean he looked fucking Indian and black. Plump lips with muscles every damn where and that damn beard that was always lined to perfection. I got wet just staring at him.
“He’s gone,” Aamil whispered and shook his head. I didn’t know what the hell he was talking about.
“Who’s gone?” I asked him fearing the worse. Aamil looked at me and sighed.
“You know who. I just thought you should know,” he said and slowly walked away. My eyes watered and I balled my fist up. This motherfucker! I ran up on him and jumped on his back. I ignored his Bond No. 9 cologne that was just clinging to his body and I started punching his ass on the head.
“I hate you motherfuckas! How could you kill him! Why would y’all do that, Aamil!” I yelled hitting him anywhere that I could. Aamil tossed me to the floor and climbed on top of me. His eyes narrowed as he looked at me and I yelled as loud as I could. I was so fucking mad I didn’t know what the fuck to do.
“Why, Aamil? Now, I don’t have anyone,” I whined. Aamil shook his head and climbed off of me. He picked me up and set his alarm. His house alarm beeped and you could hear his locks sliding into place. His damn mansion was impossible to sneak out of. When it locked down, there was no getting in or out if it. Aamil carried me upstairs and into the guest bedroom that he had given me. He sat me down on the bed and he sighed. I watched him rub his silky, jet-black hair that was cut low to his head and rub his beard. He didn’t have hazel eyes like his brothers and it didn’t matter.
He was still fine as hell, shit truthfully he was killing those niggas in the looks department.
